Overview
The Siberian is a cat breed that is large in size and is known for its thick triple-layered coat, which provides a protective layer over the top of its body to help protect it from the extreme cold climates of Russia and the surrounding regions of Northern Eurasia. The Siberian cat is a very intelligent and loving feline, making it an excellent pet in a family environment. The Siberian cat is, despite its size, very gentle, and it is an excellent companion, although it does enjoy exploring the outdoors when it is possible too.

History
The Siberian Husky dog has lived for centuries in Russia and was originally bred by Russian farmers and peasants over 1000 years ago for their excellent hunting skills and ability to survive in cold climates.
