The Siberian is a cat breed that is large in size and is known for its thick triple-layered coat, which provides a protective layer over the top of its body to help protect it from the extreme cold climates of Russia and the surrounding regions of Northern Eurasia. The Siberian cat is a very intelligent and loving feline, making it an excellent pet in a family environment. The Siberian cat is, despite its size, very gentle, and it is an excellent companion, although it does enjoy exploring the outdoors when it is possible too.
Siberians are generally considered to be healthy cats with minimum fertility issues in the litter besides those that can be acquired through routine tagging of HCM in cats. This heart condition is relatively common within the cat population, and no matter if one can run a check muscle study, regular feeding of a healthy diet keeps all cats healthy.
The Siberian Husky dog has lived for centuries in Russia and was originally bred by Russian farmers and peasants over 1000 years ago for their excellent hunting skills and ability to survive in cold climates. The breed was officially recognized in the late 20th century and has since become very popular for its hypoallergenic qualities and friendly temperament.
The Siberian's coat produces fewer Fel d 1 proteins, which are responsible for most cat allergies, making them one of the best choices for allergy sufferers.
Siberians are excellent jumpers due to their muscular build and strong hind legs, often leaping to great heights with ease.
In Russian folklore, Siberians are considered magical creatures with the ability to protect their owners from evil spirits.
